Happy if someone wants to start with 2 days a week (must be Wednesday/ Thursday) and increase days as our numbers continue to grow. ❗ The Child Care Subsidy balancing deadline is approaching. 🗓️ Families must confirm what they earned in 2021–22 and 2020–21 by 30 June to avoid losing CCS or incurring a debt. The end of financial year marks two important deadlines for families: • first deadline for confirming 2021–22 income • second deadline for confirming 2020–21 income. Families confirm their income either by lodging their tax return or telling Services Australia that they don’t need to lodge – even if they’ve already told the Australian Taxation Office. 👪 If families have questions, head to the Services Australia website.

📣 Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is increasing soon. From 10 July, most families using early childhood education and care will get more CCS. Some families previously not eligible for CCS will now get it. Over the past few weeks the children at Kids Cottage Early Learning have been showing a strong interest in playing with vehicles, so to extend on this we provided children with road pieces, blocks that could be turned into houses, a wooden garage and pictures of local services that the children may be aware of or use in their every day lives. The children we very impressed to see pictures of Woolworths, the post office, the servo, Bunnings and Middle Dural Rural Fire Brigade stuck to blocks so they could add to their little city they built. This started good conversations about places they go and people they see in the community. Today we participated in the national simultaneous storytime listening to the story of the Speedy Sloth. The children absolutely loved engaging in this story time of spike the sloth.
